This is a commission that I've been working on. It's 3-1/2 feet by 4 feet depicting the four seasons. I am happy to say that it is almost done. since I usually don't make art quilts that are this large, there were times that I yearned to be sewing on the new Bernina 830 with the longer arm.
Looking great Jamie.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt looks wonderful. Hope to see the completed piece in its totality. Lucky person who commissioned it.
ReplyDeleteAhhh yes, I would LOVE to be quilting on that Bernina 830.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it, but I want to see more! Quilting large pieces can be quite challenging on our small machines! Oh to have a long arm, but then I think, where would I put it???
ReplyDeleteHi jamie.........love your free-motion work. I have that very same Bernina and it has made all the difference in my machine quilting. Check out my blog to see the 2 other Bernina free-motion feet that fit this machine, they give superior visibility when you are doing intricate work in tight places.

WOW! I'm even more impressed now that I see that you did all that beautiful quilting on a DSM! I'm going to have to keep better track of you ... LOL!
