Work in progress. Photo transferred boots onto cotton and silk fabrics. In between sections are color laser copies of previously made "heavy metal" quilts. I brushed gel medium on both sides of the copy, and placed polyester organza to the printed side. When dried, the transfers were dipped in water, so I could peel off mostly all of the paper on the back. Skins were Mistyfused and ironed into place. Free motion quilted, and then hand sewed a metal washer in each of the "skin" sections. Full quilt to be posted soon.
