I love taking pictures of weird and unusual things; this is from the ceiling of the Maritime Museum at Fisherman's Wharf. It is a color wheel that changes as you move on the floor below. Really cool. |
This is not that weird, but I love the way it looks |
a lamp in a hotel in San Francisco |
A wall in a hotel dining room, that changed with light. I got a little obsessed with photographing it. |
These may end up in one of my art quilts someday |
A grate in the street |
Orange plastic chairs stacked |
Great lines |
Really interesting lamps in a hotel. A beautiful lace-like construction in the round. |
Ha! When I was having my eye surgery last week, I saw some graphically interesting thing on the ceiling, but alas, I did not have my camera.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to have found your blog...quite a visual treat with such amazing artwork and photos. I'll return to read farther back.
ReplyDeletebest, nadia
great photos. I do that some times too and wonder what people think when I am standing there taking pix of things that may seem ordinary to others!
ReplyDeleteWhat great images! I can see why you would be inspired by them! BTW, check out the cover of New York Times' Science section today (10/4) for more amazing - and inspiring photos (of slime molds - they're beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your super-fun posts!
