It's basically a map of who I am, and although it is not finished, I wanted to share it with you. |
The things that are important to me...like family. I would imagine that there will be time on another day to take another go at it. |
Growing and changing...love. This will look nice standing out in my art studio |
Be Bold. Onward and upward. |
Friends - you are the wind beneath my wings! |
So cool, Jamie! Just fabulous. I'll be on the lookout for an old globe next time I go to the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love this, Jamie!
ReplyDeleteOf course I LOVE this, can't wait to actually see it the next time I head to Orange. How creative you are Jamie.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Could be a great Girl Scout project as well, as the girls can document their Journey thru Scouting. Pretty sure I'll be looking for globes at the Goodwill, too. Too fun!
ReplyDeletebeautiful! I love how you are processing and incorporating your parents things into your art making and healing.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful "Jamieism"! I LOVE this. Looking for old globes now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project, love what you have done. Very interested in your next step. You could even use a paper mache balloon or ball as your base and put a map on first if your don't have a globe.
ReplyDeleteIt really is a fantastic idea! Makes me wish I still had the old family globe...
