This was the sign on Tuesday night. We saw Animal Crackers and it was quite funny! |
Here is a new fabric/quilting store "Sew Creative." I met Terry Tobey and Karen Bates at the store, the owners, who have a passion for arr quilts. Their store was very bright and fun, had an amazing assortment of Batiks, quilt patterns on the walls, a fun store window that invited you in to see more. The best part about visiting the store, was to talk to the women behind the counter. I got some great fat quarters - pictures to come later. Their store in on Main Street. |
These are fun signs from their window |
Fabric of Vision, where I had my solo show two years ago with my 'Heavy Metal' series. Sandi Globus is the owner! It is also a fabulous store of hard to find garment fabrics, Alexander Henry, Kaffe Fassat, novelty prints, Japanese fabrics and commercial cottons. She also carries a wide variety of unusual trims. |
Amuse restaurant - where fine dining begins. This is the kind of restaurant where you want to take it slow and savor every bite. A wonderful dining experience. |
Lithia Park Shoes, my favorite shoe store in town, who is always having a sale in August. They carry all of my favorite brands of comfy shoes, like Keen. |
Prize. A lovely eclectic store with beautiful and simple jewelry, find candies, stationery, journals, ephemera, books and wonder. It is full of eye candy, inspiration and a touch of whimsy. |
Kixx, my favorite clothing store - carries a variety of brands, but mainly Comfy, which I love to wear, and it is very affordable. |
We stopped in Ashland on our way home from Long Beach. It was a quick stop for coffee, but I spotted Sew Creative and was tickled to find my old friend and customer Karen Bates as one of the owners. Glad you found it too. Nice shop!

ReplyDeleteOh my, I remember Paddington Station from my childhood in the late 70s early 80s. We lived in Northern California, way north near Yreka and would day trip it to Ashland. My mom would always make sure there was time for a stop at Paddinton Station.
