I will be participating in a panel discussion this weekend at Quilt Visions in San Diego.
Visions Art Museum Contemporary Quilts + Textiles will present an artists’ panel with four Southern California contemporary quilt and textile artists as part of the museum’s lecture series. Join us on June 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. and meet artists Charlotte Bird, Jamie Fingal, Jane LaFazio, and Kathleen McCabe for this informative and entertaining afternoon. The artists will talk about life as a textile artist, exhibiting at museums and festivals, teaching, publishing, and selling their work.

The program will begin with PowerPoint presentations from each of the artists with images of their work. Beth Smith, the museum’s executive director will moderate a discussion with the artists followed by a question and answer session with the audience. Admission is $10 at the door at the Barracks 17 Event Center adjacent to the museum.
