Sneak Peeks!

I visited Hoffman Fabrics this week, to bring my BiG work, mainly decoupaged items, a tall stool and my pattern quilt, so they could ship them to Houston for Quilt Market.  This is my first look at the sample cards for my line.  I was both giddy and quite emotional.  A thrill for sure!

See that circle on the upper right?  That's my logo, and it's only every sample card.  How cool is that?

The house focus fabric, that is made in my signature style, a collage of batiks, and my own drawings are incorporated into the houses, cups and saucers. So cool.
Works in progress, and not yet free motion machine quilted - Runs with Scissors.  All of my quilts are made on a wool blended felt foundation (black), and then backed with the same in a fun color.  Felt by National Nonwovens. Fusible web by Mistyfuse!  The best, because it doesn't change the hand of the cloth.

Home.  Here's the info on the felt.
National Nonwovens 1-800-333-3469
WCF001 Fuschia -0960 20% wool, 80% rayon. My fav color so far.  The black felt that I use is TOY002 35% wool, 65% rayon.

One of the things that I love about the text fabric, is that you can make up new words and use them on a quilt.

The one is 16x16, which is part of a series, where I asked eight friends to make a quilt using my fabrics, in their own personal style.  I will post those later on my blog. All of the 16x16 quilts will be shown at Quilt Market in a School House presentation on Friday, October 25th.
