The 100 Day Project continues with a hand that got away from me and became something totally different. My hand and the things that I hold dear. And the garden of life. One of my favorites so far is 18 days.
Planting bright colored flowers in the shade garden. A look outside the French door is this garden. Now it is smiling!
I discovered Goldfinches in the Lavender pot and it was a beautiful site. Very hard to photograph and even harder to draw.
This was the start of my Goldfinch drawing, which became a practice piece on how to draw the bird. The ones painted in yellow were the winners of the day
Day 20 Me, the planter of beautiful flowers, bulbs, weed wacker and other things having to do with the garden
Day 21 My Green Tea House. Yes, it was a challenge to use as many greens as I could and still make it sing!
Here is my practice for the shades of green and the colors they create when they are overlapped
Day 22 The House Quilt Project that I founded in 2010 and it is still going strong!
Day 23 music of my life with my classic iPod on top of my dad’s old radio from his workbench. Both are in my studio
My first haircut in over a year and hopefully it corrected all of my failures of cutting my own hair
Our patio is so fragrant with the Wisteria blooming on the roof!
Day 24 my iconic image of coffee on the house in my world of quilting
Taking my new freedom slowly. Went to Target for the first time in a year and it was divine. I see more firsts along the way and I am looking forward to what is ahead. Yay!
Great to see you getting out and breathing in more gardening & art
