Drawing and Painting for Fun

The paper towel paint blotter made into fabric on Spoonflower is pretty cool.
I am enjoying the whole process of creating my own fabric line and
I am looking forward to sewing it altogether to make a usable quilt!

Watercolor painting of a pink house surrounded by leaves that have been
made by using my own stencil designs from Stencil Girl Products.
I used watercolor paint to give the leaves designs and texture.
I love how it turned out.

Look at this gem! Mirror image on fabric using Spoonflower.
This will be a fun hand sewing project!

A self portrait of me in my element. Houses, garden, cups and saucers,
overalls, happy! It is rather fun to challenge myself to draw in a
larger format and then paint it! I am enjoying the process!

And made into a fabric panel on Spoonflower!
I am super happy how it turned out! Bright, colorful and fun!

Next up - tale of the two houses with quilting patterns.
My painted dining table underneath. It makes a nice frame!

Another great fabric panel made on Spoonflower of my
watercolor painting. Not sure if I need to lighten the blue
polka dot stripe. Still mulling it over.

My iconic houses and some with objects on the roofs. My logo is
a house with a cup and saucer on the roof. Love the dog one and
the house with the iron on top.

And the fabric. The colors are a good match to the original!
What a great border these will make in a quilt!

This is the first one that I made and on Spoonflower the background
came out gray on the first try. Then I painted the background a light
shade of blue to make it more printable. I love stacks of cups!

Me, houses and cups. In hindsight, I should have cropped this first.
Oh well. You can see the cups and the houses together on
Spoonflower. I am learning as I go. Just me.
